Why Naked is Better

If you've ever tossed a dishwasher pod into the machine and watched it disappear, you've probably assumed that's the end of the story. It isn't. Most dishwasher pods and tablets on the market are wrapped in a thin plastic film that dissolves in water — but "dissolves" doesn't mean "disappears." That's why we make our tablets naked: no plastic film, no coating, nothing to leave behind.

FAQ

Are these dishwasher tablets really plastic-free?

Yes. Unlike most dishwasher pods, ours have no polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) film wrapping. The tablet is 'naked', with nothing dissolving into your water supply. It's a compressed, plant-powered formula with no plastic coating and no microplastics.

How many loads does one pouch cover?

Each pouch contains 60 fragrance-free tablets, good for 60 dishwasher loads. Just use one tablet per cycle in your dishwasher's detergent dispenser.

Where are Guests on Earth's Dishwasher Tablets made?

Our 'naked' Dishwasher Tablets are manufactured here in Canada.

Can I use these dishwasher tablets in my HE (high efficiency) dishwasher?

Yes! Our dishwasher tablets are formulated to perform in all HE (high-efficiency) dishwashers.

Are these tablets safe for baby bottles and kids' dishes?

Yes. The formula is gentle enough for baby bottles, kids' dishes, silverware, glassware, and porcelain, while still tackling grease, stuck-on food, and stains.

Are they septic-safe and biodegradable?

Yes. The formula is biodegradable and septic-safe, so it breaks down safely after it goes down the drain, unlike PVA-wrapped pods, which can leave behind plastic residue.

What are the little blue specs in the tablets?

The small blue specks in our dishwasher tablets are enzyme granules. They contain, among other ingredients, an enzyme called protease, which helps break down protein-based food residues such as eggs, dairy products, sauces, and meat leftovers.

These granules are an integral part of the cleaning formula and are distributed throughout the tablet to ensure consistent performance with every wash.

Do these tablets have a scent?

No, this is our fragrance-free formula, with no added dyes either. It's built for people with sensitivities to fragrance, or who just prefer a clean formula with nothing extra in it.

I was skeptical, but they work!

Tried these so that I could get rid of all the plastic ones and I was a little skeptical… I put a whole load in with food on the plate plates and everything came out clean. I’m a believer now.

Great product that I don’t have guilt about but still leaves my glassware spotless

Was apprehensive to switch to the chalk tablets fearing residue on wine glasses and other glassware - not a trace and everything smells fresh and is not streaky - highly recommend

GOE GOAT

I love and am completely converted on all GOE products, these are a little expensive for performance but I love the plastic free option.

Effective and unscented

I was excited to try the dishwasher pucks. No surprise it does the job and the bonus…it’s unscented! It is a hit in our house just like their laundry detergent, household cleaner, dish soap and hand soap.

Fantastic Product!

Another fantastic product! ❤️ I’ve been waiting for this for so long! I was thrilled to hear that you had come out with a dishwasher tablet and couldn’t wait to give it a try. My previous brand was becoming harder to find and more expensive, so this couldn’t have come at a better time! It cleans beautifully, and I’m so happy with the results. Another amazing product from a brand I love! 😊

Unbelievable

I had already switched over my laundry detergent and every day cleaner to Guests On Earth but was weary about switching out my usual dishwasher pods and held on needlessly for far too long. I honestly can’t believe how perfectly every dish came out. We have been seriously brainwashed into think we need harsh chemicals that end up leaving residue on clothing and dishes. I am so impressed. I’ll never go back!
